Składniki / Ingredients:

For rolls

  • 3.5 cups plain flour
  • 12 g dry yeast
  • 1 egg
  • 80 g sugar
  • 3/4 cup milk (lukewarm)
  • 3/4 cup pumpkin puree
  • 50 g butter (melted)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

For cheese filling

  • 400 g philadelphia cheese
  • 2 spoons custard powder
  • 120 g icing sugar
  • 30 g butter

Additionally

  • 1 jar of orange marmalade

Sposób wykonania / Instructions:

For rolls

  • Mix flour with dry yeast. Add the remaining ingredients. Knead. At the end pour in melted and cooled butter. Make a dough so that it is soft and flexible. Make a ball from the dough, place it in a flour-sprinkled bowl, set aside in a warm place. Cover with a kitchen towel until it doubles (it will take about 1.5 hours).
  • For cheese filling
  • Put the Philadelphia cheese in a bowl, add the custard powder, icing sugar and soft butter. Mix for about 1 minute.
  • When the dough doubles the volume put on the board, knead again briefly and roll out into a rectangle. Spread cheese filling on top and then orange marmalade
  • Roll up like a roulade, cut with a sharp knife into slices, place on a baking tray (lined with baking paper), keeping gaps. Cover with a kitchen towel, let stand for 30 minutes to rise again (or longer – they should double the volume).
  • Spread the buns with beaten egg. Bake at 200ºC and for about 13 minutes

A method for bread machines users

  • Place all ingredients for the dough in the machine in order: liquid, loose, finally dry yeast. Set the dough dough kneading and kneading program. After finishing the program (1.5 hours), remove the dough, knead briefly. Continue to follow the above instructions
